“I was given a scintillating set of prayer beads during an illness recently. As I held them each day, I could feel the love and healing taking place. They have become a visible symbol of prayer and love at work. I am deeply grateful.” D.G., North Carolina.
“It is more than pure beauty you hold in your hands. Each bead contains communion to you through the artistry and compassion of its maker. Each bead is a prayer - of thanksgiving or petition. Each bead is a blessing for your heart, your soul, your life.” A.H., Florida
"Gail had given my 19-year-old daughter a lovely set of prayer beads. Unbeknownst to me, my daughter took them on her month long trip to Pakistan in December of 2003. As it turned out, her trip was filled with many new experiences and much danger. Saddam Hussein was caught while she was in Pakistan and within a day, there was murder and great danger in the city where she was staying. Due to the extremely unstable situation, my daughter decided to come home 10 days early. On one of her flights home, two men fought violently in the aisle of the plane. On her flight from Paris to the US, the plane caught on fire and had to return to Paris for an emergency landing. She finally arrived at Raleigh-Durham airport at midnight on Christmas Day, and as she came down the escalator, she was clutching her prayer beads. She tearfully explained that she had carried the beads with her everywhere on her trip, gaining peace and comfort from them in all situations." P.K., North Carolina
"I feel very fortunate to have received such a valuable gift from you early on in my treatment. Please know that the beads have been a great comfort to me during my treatment. They went with me to all of my early diagnostic sessions, the surgery and recovery, and in my pocket for most all chemo treatments. They are draped on my bedside light and I use them many nights before I go to sleep when offering a prayer of thankfulness." M.F., North Carolina
