Credit Cards through PayPal

We accept credit cards through PayPal. What is PayPal? It’s a simple way for you to send money to a small business like we are, and it’s a simple way for us to receive money from our customers. There is no charge to the buyer to set up an account with PayPal. PayPal is owned by eBay, and it is the payment method of choice for many craftspeople and artists selling on the internet. PayPal is a secure site. We feel safe with it and we regularly use PayPal ourselves when we order beads from artists around the country.

You don't have to have an account with PayPal to place an order. If you do already have an account with PayPal, you will be prompted at checkout to enter your user name and your password. If you want to set up an account with PayPal, you will be able to do so at checkout.

Checks and money orders

If you prefer to pay by check or money order, email us or call us and let us know what strand you want. We will take that strand off the website for two weeks until your money order arrives or until your check clears.

As these strands are all one-of-a-kind, please be understanding if someone buys the strand you want directly from the website before we read your email or receive your call.

Shipping options, prices, and procedures

We ship to all U.S. states by US Postal Service Priority Mail. Our shipping and handling charge is $7.50 for the first strand of beads and $3.50 for each additional strand.

We will mail your package within 4 business days after we receive your payment. If for any reason we can’t ship that quickly, we’ll let you know via email.

We are protected financially by PayPal only if we ship to your verified address (that’s your credit card billing address). Consequently, if you ask us to ship to an address different from your verified address, we ask that you limit your order to one strand of prayer beads.

International Orders

For orders outside the US, Canada, and Mexico, we ship either by international express mail or first class mail. For first class mail, the charge is $14 for the first strand plus $2 for each additional strand. For international express, the charge is $33 for the first strand and $2 for each additional strand. We strongly prefer to ship express because that method allows us to both insure and track your beads. If you prefer to have us ship first class, you will be asked via a pop-up window to confirm that you understand the risk. We ship only to countries on PayPal’s approved list.

Guarantee, repairs, and returns

We want you to be completely happy with your beads, and we believe you will be. If for any reason you are not, we accept returns for up to 7 days after the beads were delivered. We will either refund you through PayPal or send you a check, depending on how you paid us. Please check your order as soon as it is received. If anything is damaged or missing, email or call us and let us know the nature of the problem.

Conditions for return:
Notice that there is a “RETURNS” portion of your invoice. Please fill that out.
a. Please return the beads in similar protective wrapping as you received them.
b. Return the CD and pouch that came with the beads.
c. Return to this address: 1109 Huntsman Drive, Durham, NC 27713.
d. Ship via a carrier that provides tracking. We will not be responsible for refunds if you return a package that never arrives to us.
e. If the beads are broken or defective upon arrival, let us know if you want them repaired or exchanged or if you prefer a refund. As all of our strands are one-of-a-kind, exact matches may not be possible. We will talk with you via phone or email if you want a repair or replacement.
f. If the strand arrives damaged or defective, we will refund up to $7.00 of your shipping charges on the return mailing to us.

Repair:
If you carry your beads in your pocket or purse, please protect them in their pouch. Carrying them in a pocket with coins or keys could damage the beads. They are meant to be handled, but consistent strain on any part of the strand could also cause damage. We guarantee your beads for six months against breakage of the wire. Ship them to us and we will repair them and ship them back to you for free assuming you send them to us with all the components. If you have lost or broken some components, we will talk with you via phone or email concerning cost and availability of replacement components. After six months, we will repair your beads for $20 (which includes shipping them back to you), again assuming all components are intact. Please remember that many of the beads we use are glass or crystal. We cannot be responsible for replacing individual beads that break if the strands are dropped or treated roughly.
